Success Stories

Joshua Bell – 8 years old

2009 - Joshua started playing golf in March 2009 and was fortunate to play in and win the 2009 World Qualifying Event that was held in Myrtle Beach, SC. After winning the 2009 Atlanta Golf Summer Series which comprised 8 local tournaments, Joshua has qualified to play in the 2010 European Championship in Scotland and the 2010 World Championship to be held in Pinehurst, NC. In August 2009, Joshua played in the US Kids World Championship. With scores of 49, 46 and 47 Joshua placed 76th in the World for 6-year-olds.

2010 - Joshua played in the 2010 US Kids World Championships held in Pinehurst, NC. With scores of 53, 40 and 42, Joshua finished 53rd in the World Championships for 7-year-olds.

* Joshua has been a part of the Performance Program over the past 2 years.

Trevor Dozier – 7 years old

2010 - Trevor competed in and won the 2010 Atlanta Golf Spring Series that comprised 8 local tournaments.  This qualified Trevor for many major kids golf events throughout the World in 2010 and 2011. Trevor competed in the 2010 European Championship in Scotland and the 2010 World Championship held in Pinehurst, NC. In August 2010, he finished 76th place with scores of 52, 47 and 49.

2011 - Trevor competed in and won the 2011 Atlanta Golf Spring Series that comprised 8 local tournaments.  This qualified Trevor for many major kids golf events throughout the World in 2011 and 2012. Trevor plans to compete in the 2011 European Championship in Scotland and the 2011 World Championship held in Pinehurst, NC in August 2010.

Riley Ruby – 6 years old

2011 – Riley began competing in golf tournaments in 2011 and won 2 of the first 3 events he entered. Through the strength of these results he finished a close second in the 2011 Atlanta Golf Spring Series, which comprised 8 events. These results were a reflection of his efforts, passion and dedication to the game.

2011 - Riley competed  successfully and finished 42nd in the 2011 US Kids World Championships.

* Riley has been on the Performance Program over the last 12 months at Atlanta Golf Training.

Jack Mallard – 5 years old

Jack has been apart of our Performance Program over the past year. Initially, Jack displayed natural talent and temperament for the game of golf. His consistency of practice over the past year has allowed Jack to improve in all facets of the game to the point where he will be able to compete successfully in age-related tournaments at any level of competition.

2011 - Jack recently registered a personal best of 41 for 9 holes. 

 Jordan Levit – 6 years old

Jordan has been a part of our Golf Programs over the past year and successfully competed in the 2011 US Kids Fall Golf Series. Through his passion and great play Jordan won the Fall Series which now qualifies him to play in the 2012 US Kids World Championships to be played at Pinehurst, NC.
